Blue Star Industries is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of Oilfield and Industrial Pollution Control Chemicals and Organic Bacterial Agents. Founded in 1982 for the sole purpose of supplying the offshore oil industry with biodegradable emulsifiers and degreasers for oil based drilling fluids. Fueled by scientific advances and steadily expanding industrial consumer demand for new chemicals that meet the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP), Blue Star has entered the market of Probiological Remediation Technology "PRT". Blue Star Industries operates from two manufacturing and warehouse facilities located in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and Broussard, Louisiana. Corporate and sales offices are located in Hopewell Junction, New York, approximately 85 miles north of New York City. Blue Star markets and distributes its' product line through a multiple channel system that includes direct mail and marketing. In today's market place, there is a growing demand for environmentally responsible alternatives to traditional chemicals of the past.
